  • Probably not Mother's Day, but Monday I will. My son is going to be spending a few days with my sister, since I'm being admitted to the hospital Monday night to be induced Tuesday morning. So Monday is my relaxing day.

  • Only if hell has frozen over. My husband actually had the balls to ask me: You don't REALLY expect anything for Mother's Day, do you?

What I wish I'd said: No honey, why would I want anything to tell me how special I am to you and the kids? (please note the sarcasm)

What I really said: I just shook my head and changed the subject.

  • Maybe by a half hour. We have a chicken processing day, which is an hour away. I'm hoping to be left alone tomorrow morning.
