Am I the only one?

My husband thinks I'm weird because I hate to cuddle in bed. I can't go to sleep if someone is touching me, I need my space. Anyone else?

  • I'm the same way. I'll cuddle with hubby as long as we're watching tv or if we're talking in bed, but as soon as i'm ready to go to sleep -- I need my own space!

  • I don't care if DH touches me... but I tend to freak out when I wake up to his huge arms squeezing me and his leg on top of me. What he consideres cuddling, I consider crushing. Seriously, I never thought I was clostrophobic until I met him.
It tends to hurt his feeling when I want my space to sleep though, so I compromise and cuddle up behind him instead.

  • My hubby i think has a built in
I like laying or sitting by him.
However to cuddle i can do that so long before i'm needing a fan.
Plus once i go to sleep i like to have my legs and arms in a odd sleeping position which can't happen with him snuggled close.
Probley due to being pregnant also right now.

  • I am the same way. Luckily so is my friend. We both need our space and need our good sleep. We may start out laying in each others arms and etc but we generally end up back to back or all across the bed lol

  • lol me too! DH think's I'm weird because all women love to cuddle. I loved to cuddle when we were dating and I enjoy a good cuddle when we're watching a movie or something. But not in bed. He'll put his leg over mine and wrap his arms around me and his legs and arms are a dead weight that just squashes me!

  • I hear you I don't mind if we cuddle but when I'm ready to call it a night, you have to move on your side. I told my dh if not we will be like I Love Lucy seperate beds lol

  • Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, he told me last night (he was joking) that if I didn't want to cuddle then he would find someone that would. I told him thats fine I will go out and buy him a blow up doll.
