My husband is leaving me...

for two weeks for business.... what to do, what to do?

He will be back on weekends... but Im thinking I will sleep in the middle of the bed! Have a glass of wine IN bed before I go to sleep! Im thinking the kids and I will eat early! Maybe even go out for dinner!

What sorts of things do you do differently when it is just you and the kids vs. hubby and the kids????

  • We are already used to doing our own thing. I go about doing things the same if he's home or not. I guess when he's home, I get to grocery shop in peace! (& I don't get the surprises in the grocery cart then! lol)

  • When my husband is at a conference, I go to sleep earlier, have dinner earlier, and cook seafood and things with mushrooms in them for dinner. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.
