What kind of soap did you use in the 50-70's?

I know they didn't have all of these new fangled things like Bath & Body works...

I can recall: Dove, Irish Spring, Ivory, Zest, Caress, Octogon...
What can you remember?

  • Well, I wasn't around in the 50's, but I know Cashmere Bouquet has been around since the 1890's.

  • I remember having extremely dry skin and eczema when I was little. I remember the Dr. telling my mother to use Dial because it was an antibiotic soap. That must have been around 1973 or so.....
