My baby is 8 months and can't drink out of a medium flow bottle?

so like the question says my son is 8 months now, and he could only drink out of slow flow bottles.. is that normal? should i keep trying to give him medium flow until he gets it, or maybe he's still too young? anyone know?

  • i'd stick with the slow flow until he can handle a faster flow. my son never took anything more than a slow flow b/c he would take a bottle so fast, anything more than slow would choke him

  • We had the same problem with my DD who is one now and will refuse a zippy cup, and I have bought all of them. She never used the medium flow but moved to the fast flow at one year, before that it was slow flow the entire time. Pediatrician was not concerned, said all kids are different and will tell you when they are ready.
