  • That first tooth can arrive before birth or after the first birthday.

  • Any time...but usually around 4-6 mo.

  • My son is now 8 mo. and has his two bottom teeth. Those came in just recently, like within the last 2-4 weeks.

It seems like he has been teething FOREVER. I think when he was around 4 months, I noticed he was chewing on everything, including his hands. But he wasn't really "teething", now that I have experienced it. I think he was just curious about everything and it all ended up going in his mouth.

With that said, all babies are different. My experience could be different from yours. Your baby could be teething, but you just never know until that first tooth comes through!
