Does Anyone LIKE Their Mother In Law?

We've all heard horror stories but does anyone have a good relationship with theirs? I love my mother in law. I never really knew how having a Mom could be until I got married.

  • We had our moments, but only a few. She is a very strong women, but she is now suffering from Alzheimer's.  So I don't sweat the bad things much anymore.

  • I do, mine lives with us. She is a doll of a woman!
I even still have a great relationship with my ex MIL, we meet up for holidays when I am in town, she has even come her once to stay.

  • I've tried but after her manipulation, dropping my daughter on her head, squeezing her hand too hard on purpose, spanking them, and constantly asking for money after my dad died, it's hard.

  • My husband's mom died before we knew each other, but I would have liked to know her. Even though I didn't hear much good about her.

  • we actually used to be best friends. i met my soon to be ex husband in highschool, and i was her favorite girlfriend of his. then we split up but her and i still kept in touch, and i'd randomly drop by just to say hi. then i had a baby, and she loved her like she was her own granddaughter, and eventually her son and i got back together and had a baby of our own, but he left for deployment and she was kind enough to take me, my pregnant self and my daughter from a previous relationship into her home.

then her son did something really fucking stupid, and the division between us started happening. now we're arch enemies.
