Nothing offensive in the truth! great article!

I liked it ... I have never understood why religious men (please note I said "religious", not to be confused with men of true faith) are afraid of women. It goes all the way back to the Bible and Paul. I mean, what are they so afraid of? 

I grew up in a very religious household yet was never taught that I was less than any male. The rules and expectations were the same for me and my sis as they were for my brothers. Have horrible things been done by "religious" people? Yes. Have horrible things been done by non religious people? Yes

Toward the end, I got a little concerned. The author is encouraging children/teens to go against their parents and the adults in their lives. "....requires that you demand that the adults around you pay attention and change their behavior." and "They are often kind and benevolent and they love you. So, they must be right. But they are not. They demonstrate their own hypocrisy over and over and over again. They say they know what is best. They do not. You do."

I am not sure who this letter was directed to, but I am sure that I don't want my daughters to read this. The public school system does fine with telling children not to listen to their parents, we have people like Al Gore telling children not to listen to their parents, and there are others such as this woman doing the same. Maybe we would be better off if our children DID listen to their parents.

I'd like this for my teen-aged grand-daughter. And it looks like we have several of those "enabling" women here, ready to subjugate their own daughters to male domination. It gives me the shivers!!!!

It took me a long time to learn that it was ok that my husband wanted an equal partner rather than a submissive wife.

I must say, I really like my equality.

I'd rather "subjugate" to a male than subjugate to anger


Why subjugate at all?

Men regardless of religion look down and treat women poorly. Religion has nothing to do with it. There are a lot of assumptions that are made in this article, which is complete crap. There is a saying when you assume, u make an a** of u and me. Men have been a** since the beginning of time, they don't need religion to do so.
