Have you or somebody you know got hurt at walmart?

My kids daddy drives truck, he was making a delivery. The door that open up like a garage fell on him. He hurt his back, should he sue, the door fell without anybody operating it.

  • I don't automatically jump into the whole suing thing. Should he consult an attorney? Yes. The attorney will work with Walmart to get his injuries paid for.... If that means suing, then so be it... but I don't believe in anyone making money off an accident. Injuries should be compensated, lost wages, etc...

  • he should l=file for workers comp not sue. i think people jump to the idea of sueing way to easily. accidents happen and while he should have his medical bills and comp for missed work taken care of i do not think that money should be made off an accident.

  • I am pretty sure this would fall under a worker comp case. He should file a claim and see a lawyer who deals with workers comp.

    If you sue, be prepared to be tied up in litigation until you both die of old age.

    Suing, in my opinion, should be saved for the most egregious offenses. Had he been killed, or severely injured that would be one thing. An injured back doesn't fall into that category.

  • My friends uncle worked there and he was up on a ladder doing something, I didn't really ask and the ladder broke and he feel and broke his leg. Works Comp sucked BAD and after he was better walmart fired him 2 days after he came back.
