does your post preg belly ever go back as before?

my tummy looks and even feels a little firm when standing up straight. but if i bend over or sit down it still has some loose skin on it. i have lost all my preg weight and then some. just wondering if this will ever change. i see these celebs on tv and their tummys look back to normal like they never had kids. it's so depressing.

  • Hon, they have great plastic surgeons and can afford to hire personal trainers. Be happy and proud of your "pooch". It's a sign of motherhood! :)

  • Don't let those people get you down. Realize that they have an army of personal trainers and stylists and plastic surgeons and spa technicians helping them look their best. It's not fair to compare yourself to them. Us normal people will never look as good as them because they get paid to look better than us.

Me personally, I have my pre-pregnancy stomach. But I'm overweight to begin with, so my stomach was by no means flat and pretty. Never has been, never will be. I've learned to deal with it. Once you learn to accept yourself as you are, you'll be a lot happier.

  • I dont think it's all about genetics. As soon as I had my daughter, my stomach went immediately back to normal. And within a few weeks, it was back to being toned, without me working out. No stretch marks or anything. Both my mother and sister got stretch marks as well as a little extra "padding" that still hasnt gone away. So just because your mother might have had those problems, doesnt mean you will.
