Memory Foam

I hate my mattress. I prefer firm mattresses. There is a big sale on memory foam mattresses here for Memorial Day. They have several prices on many name brand and then a big sale that does not mention a name brand. DH wants to get one... I'm not convinced I will like it. Experience?

The only thing I hate about it (and it's a big thing) is that it hold body heat so it is HOT in the summer

we got ours at Costco, we had one that held body heat and hated it
this is the brand we got-
Sleep Science, it is a 10 inch I believe.

It is firmer than I am used too but great to hubby who likes a very firm mattress

oh god holding heat would NOT be good... we live in Texas and I get hot easily anyway

I have a Simmons Comforpedic. The cells are further apart so it doesn't hold body heat like a Tempurpedic. The foam is not as dense and in my opinion it is easier to move around in than a tempur. I don't feel like I am in quicksand. My husband has a firm side and I have my plush side. I've never slept better!

I live in Texas too and haven't had a problem with the heat retention in the bed. I keep my thermostat at 79 too.

get a Tempur Pedic
We have the Cloud Supreme and it does NOT hold in body heat,and we don't have air conditioning in the house
And LOL,sex is just fine on it!

I know people that have it and complain that it gets very hot to sleep on. They hate it in the summer. We have the Sleep Number bed and can control the firmness. My sister has had hers for over 17 years. They are indistructable. They even have a new model with a temperature control, my husband likes it hot and I like it cold. I'm a #45 and he's a # 70.
