What is your biggest worry as a parent?

  • That they'll get bullied at school/have their heart broken/make mistakes/mess up/do wrong/grow up.
    I'm worried that their once perfectly intricate, tiny little flawless, incrediably beautiful innocent small face will get stained with tears and make-up and spots and slaps and aches from the past and worst of all that one day they might have to fake their amazing little smiles.
    I'm most worried that they'll get hurt and that they'll cry from an emotional pain, not a fall in the garden.
    I'm terrified that they're not happy.
    I worry that they'll see themsleves as imperfect when they are really the most fantastic thing on earth.
    I worry that one day they'll be unhappy or they'll make someone else unhappy.
    Basically i worry that life will hurt them but inevitably it will.

  • I worry about cancer because it runs in my family. I don't want to die too soon and leave my son without a mother.

  • That I'm going to get colon cancer like my mom and die before I am 40, leaving my children without a mother.

  • That I have prepared them to move into the world as responsible adults and have a good life, meaning that they are in a job they like and can support themselves or their family. I hope they find love, whatever it may be.

  • Mine are grown now but my biggest fear when they were little was that something would happen to me and there wouldn't be anyone to care for them.
