  • About 5 weeks with my first, I dried up because I got pregnant again. I did BF my second.

  • 9 months with each child. They both self weaned at that point. They both liked the food Mommy and Daddy were eating a LOT better than my boob(s).

  • With my first, 8 months. I would have liked to nurse longer, but I had very little experience or support, plus (now I know this) my daughter was just not a good nurser if that makes sense.

    My second I nursed quite easily for 18 months.

    My oldest is almost a year old and she is still nursing. I will probably nurse until 18 months or 2 years old with her, too.

  • Unfortunately neither of mine nursed for very long. DD weened herself at around 3 or 4 months. DS stopped being breastfed at a month because he honestly sounded like he was dying when I tried to feed him.
