Donating/selling Breastmilk?

I've heard of people doing this. Donating or selling to the hospital, is this true/possible?

  • It really depends on the hospital. Ours doesn't accept it but many larger hospitals do

  • Check around, every place is different. The requirements are strict too...no smoking, no drinking, no drugs, healthy diet, disease free, and sometimes they won't take it if you have any chronic conditions like diabetes, etc. But if you can, do it...its a wonderful gift to premies!
