Patience, resourcefulness, playfulness, CPR/first aid training, compassion, firmness of what the rules are, but with no anger.

Patience and kindness and understanding.

All of the above & also a contract that spells out both parties expectations. That way you can protect your financial interests (wages, things that get broken, etc.)

No, early childhood education is usually taught in college. Some teenagers are able to get early childhood education through nanny services or through their parents if they are already nannies/sitters.It is a certificate program at most community colleges.
