What are some good qualities you should have as a home daycare provider/babysitter?

  • All of the above & also a contract that spells out both parties expectations. That way you can protect your financial interests (wages, things that get broken, etc.)

  • I like those as well! What would you consider early childhood education? Like a college degree, took it in high school, so on?

  • No, early childhood education is usually taught in college. Some teenagers are able to get early childhood education through nanny services or through their parents if they are already nannies/sitters.It is a certificate program at most community colleges.

  • I took numerous early childhood education classes as extras in high school, but never finished it out in college because of money.. One day I will finish I swear... :(
