Is my son's behavior normal?

I know he's only 8 months old so its really hard to determine anything. I've noticed he has these "ticks." I know pounding on tables is normal. I've seen many other babies do that. But whenever I feed him a bottle, he smacks himself in the head as wierd as that sounds. Also, I'll see him flap his hands in front of his face. Is this normal baby behavior or is it something else?

  • Yes, but i would make sure that he doesn't have an ear infection or something, my son was doing that and he had fluid behind his ears that was causing him discomfort.
