  • Wish we could keep them protected from all of life's bad things, but no- no bubble here. Just teaching them about being aware of their surroundings, stranger danger, etc. & still allowing them to enjoy life. That's about all any parent can do.

    No. Just a few hours ago my dd rolled in the sand until she looked like a schnitzel, licked a shell because it's "yummy salty" and made herself a wig from sea wheat. She smelled great coming home. lol

  • Nope, I know I can't protect him from everything so I do my best to have a balance between keeping him safe and letting him be a kid. I don't sweat the small stuff, like dirt and germs.
