I seen so many posts about people bitching because people are partying today. I will tell you what, if you haven't sat with your friend after they have gotten the visit from their commander and chaplain shut your damn mouth. If you haven't been directly affected by the death of a service member really please shut your mouth, if you haven't helped plan a funeral for one of your best friends and held a mothers hand can it. I'm sorry people celebrate differently most military members drink and have fun and party. It is not wrong to remember them this way. sorry y'all it just irritates the hell out of me.
End vent lol

My husband had to escort the remains of one of his students home last year after he got hit by a train. He's had friends killed in Iraq. I had a couple of my students die in Afghanistan. It's a time to remember and celebrate their lives.

I don't really care how others celebrate this holiday, but it would be nice if they understood what it was about to begin with.
Anywho, I hope you feel better after that. Don't spend too much time hanging from the ceiling this weekend. ♥
