how do you know for sure if your child is teething???

my 18 mos daughter has been really grumpy. I think she might be teething a again but I'm not positive. She'll be good then she'll jus become a grump. She doesn't seem to be tired though but she always wants to be held and wants her way. What should I do?

  • well both my kids had the tell tale signs of teething- more drool, chewing on weird things (actually caught my daughter chewing on the hose to the vacuum cleaner attachments yesterday) and grumpiness. Sometimes a slight fever too. Give her a cold cold washcloth to chew on and see if that helps her feel better.

  • Red and sometimes ridgy gums is the only clue I get with my son.
