  • i do, but not everything - when my grandma taught me how, she only taught me the basics and how to make 1 thing, she did not teach me stitch names or how to read a pattern or anything. i have been able to figure out how to do other things on my own, but kind of suck at things like scarves, hats, etc! i tend to stick to what i do best - which is baby blankets. my current projects are a baptism blanket and some old handkercheifs that my mother in law found (teeny tiny hook and thin thread! very fine work!) but i do not have any pictures of those yet. one of the more recent sets (blanket plus burp cloths) i finished for a gift:

  • I crochet, knit, spin and sew. I like to keep busy. Make a lot of my Christmas gifts. The person who is a lefty, get your sil to sit across from you so you can see her hand movements. That is how I learned. I am also left handed.
