How much rice cereal

I just started my 4 month old on rice cereal. I am wondering at what consistency you mix it for your baby at that age and how much and how often did they eat it? I am not interested in anyone telling me that I should not be giving my baby cereal. That being said - how does everyone else do it?

  • In the beginning you're supposed to make it very runny, almost like as thin as just formula. Then once they get used to eating from a spoon you can make it a little thicker. Once my son started baby jar food I just made the cereal the same consistency as the food.
