Is it weird that my 10 month old refuses table food?

My dd is 10 months old and will eat babyfood- but if it's a stage 3 chunky, or pieces of bread, cheerios... anything that she has to chew, she either REFUSES it, or will gag and spit it out the best she can. With my oldest, she was eating a lot of table food by now, so it seems a little wierd to me... Should I be worried?

  • It's probably just a texture thing. I wouldn't worry. She will eventually eat table food, it just may take her longer. Keep trying and introducing new things over time, but I wouldn't worry about it.
