I have a double wide that appraise around $35-40K but looking to finance 15K to pay the $10K loan through relatives and then the other $6K to remodel and pay off some medical bills. Our regular banks only finance permanant homes. Since we don't own the land it's a no go. Unsecured loans they no longer do. The credit unions do them but basically want us as a member for 1-2 years first.
Does anyone know a bank/mortgage company that is good? We have good credit score only downfall is DH took a new job after 14 years. It was an initial drop in pay but its more stable and healthier.

If I were you I will go to the bank that I trusted the most and have their assistance to help me refinance my mobile home. You can also search the web and find a good mortgage company with good feedbacks.
