1 Bump

I need help with a baptismal gift

He is older than most, he is going into the second grade. Most of the baptismal gifts I see are for babies. Any suggestions?

  • Bible, or as Mrs. Harsh said a cross necklace, or a rosary if you want to give a religious gift.

    I love iLovemyPaulie's idea of a savings bond.

    I've also learned that really anything you would give as a birthday gift is appropriate.....

  • Does he have his own Bible or rosary?

    A gift certificate is always my last resort.
    Are you close to the family? Can you ask what they think would be good for him?


    It is always harder for older children.

  • At most Christian bookstores they have really cute books, in addition to Bibles (which he probably already has?). I think a savings bond also is a great present for this type of thing!
