  • I saw this on an episode of Housewives of ???somewhere. Big huge elaborate wedding and the mother of the bride put the dog, that she carries everywhere, in a tuxedo. It was almost cute.

  • Mine is a lab/dane mix, and he is a true garbage gut. Amazingly he's never needed surgery ... but he's helped eat (he and his littermate) two sofas, a loveseat, the spindles on the deck rail, batteries (that was fun), permanent markers, occasional socks, eggrolls lying on the counter BEFORE a 150 mile trip home, cat food, cat litter, half of an Italian love cake ... followed by a peroxide chaser, denuded an entire row of grape tomato plants (that was a fun three days), paper, pencils, and every mole/vole he can catch.

  • My dog is a little bigger, a lab chow. I made him a headless horseman costume for Halloween one year. He was the horse, with a saddle and a headless doll holding a mini pumpkin for a head. He wouldn't have any of it!! When my youngest son tried to dress him up in old t-shirts and other things, Knight wouldn't cooperate at all. He will not wear a costume!!

LOL! He once ate an entire Barbie car and a pound of butter in a single day. This is how I know what will happen.

  • "Mine is a lab/dane mix"

Black lab/GSD mix here. Once, he had a sore on his nose and I was using a cotton ball with medicine on it. He ate the cotton ball. Probably 3 remotes, a pair of glasses, cat litter, an entire container of tin foil, a bag of peaches, a wood pallet (he snuck that one in; he'd take a few bites out of it every day, so it was a few days before I noticed), a memory foam pillow, an entire telephone and so much more I can't even recall.

But give him food with corn in it and he breaks out in hives. Seriously.
