How often are you breastfeeding your 10 month old?

This question is for those moms breastfeeding their 10 month olds or older. I have a 10 month old son that I am currently breastfeeding. With my first son I stopped at 5 or 6 months so I have never breastfeed for this long before. I was curious to see how many feedings a day others moms with 10 month olds are having? Thanks for your input!

  • Ethan who is now 11mo nurses about 6x/day on average. He also eats solids 3x/day. Nursing can last anywhere from 3min to 20min (depends on if i fall asleep...i've woken in the chair 45min later!!)

  • My son is 17 months. He nurses for his nap and for bedtime, and a few times throughout the night (we cosleep). Besides those times, I'd say on a normal day, he will nurse 2-3 other times. If he's sick, or extremely fussy, or if there are extenuating circumstances, he will nurse more.
