Potty training

My daughter is 26 months old and has no interest at all in the potty. any advice?

  • Wait until she does show interest. My daughter would follow me and was fascinated but wouldn't sit on the potty. One day, she was suddenly willing to sit there. That's when we started.

    Keep in mind that she will be fully potty trained - able to go on her own when she needs to go with no or few accidents - at the same age, no matter how young she is when you start. So, you can start hauling her to the potty every hour and holding her there now or you can wait until she seems more interested. Either way, you'll be "done" at about the same age.
