  • No doctor worth his or her salt is going to say a child is lazy for wetting their pants.

I suspect some sort of emotional reason. I would suggest counseling so you both can determine the cause. Has there been any significant changes in her life?

  • You need to find a new doctor. If she was just bedwetting, it wouldn't be a big deal; lots of kids bedwet until their older.

The fact that she's wetting while awake, and peeing behind her bed leaves me feeling uncomfortable about this situation. Something is going on. You need to find out what it is

  • There may be a medical or emotional reason for this. So at that age, my first plan would be to take her to her Pediatrician for a consult on this issue.

  • Find a new doctor! That is awful advice. Is she delayed in any other way? Some kids just have issues with not feeling the need to go.

  • If she has never really been potty trained, SHE is not the problem. Kids do not potty train themselves. They need to be taught.

  • nothing has changed she just never really potty trained She has never been consistant about using the potty which is why the doctor tested her several times they even sent me to a specialist and did a test where they filler her bladder and watched her empty it on a mri when she was 4 they found nothing so they said that she is just a lazy potty trainer and that I need to try rewards and sticker charts
