I was just curious because my little one will be two in July and I know the doctor is going to ask about his speech. My LO says Mama, Dada and uh oh. He sometimes says his brothers name and he has said a couple of other words once or twice but then will not say them again. He even has different sounds to his grunts, (a long drawn out grunt for curiousity, a short loud grunt for frustration, etc.) My older son was say three word sentences by his age. I'm not totally panicked because he understands almost everything you tell him and I know kids go at their own pace but i'm starting to get a little impatient. I also know that its not that he doesn't want to talk because sometimes you can see him trying to figure out how to say it but he just can't make the sounds. Did any of you moms experience this? Do you think its not good that he's not talking yet?Answer Question
