Suggestions?

I have to write a paper for school and I have to come up with my one Human Servoce organization! I though of a few but I am not sure if they would fall under human service oragnization area! Any types of suggestions could help so I can get my head wrapped around the idea!!

  • I have to come up with my own type of organization, so I was thinking of what kinds are out there to base my organization off of, if that make since! Like what type of people I want to help, or what area I want to make one to help

  • Well think about what you would want to do for people if you actually had the funds to do it & go from there.

  • What about a homeless shelter that provides housing, job skills, budgeting, household skills, parenting classes, GED prep classes.

  • So you need to create a human service organization? Correct? Are you a non-profit? First you will need funding from things such as grants, HUD, donations, the VA, etc. Then you would need a Board to supervise everything. Then you'd need Director, etc etc. You'd need to decide what your organization did such as Tyfry suggests, get funding from appropriate organizations, and then staff it accordingly. You'll need a mission statement, and goals with a way to track those goals and gather the data of who is being helped.
