has anyone had a c-section and did not have any bleeding?

I had a c-section almost a week ago and I dont have any bleeding.
If you have not got urs when did u get it?

  • Bleeding from where? Yes, I had vaginal bleeding, right after I had the baby. But, mine was an emergency c-section...not sure if that makes a difference b/c I labored

  • weird!!! I had vaginal delivery with my son and c-section with my daughter I immedietly bled (only for 2 weeks) with both of my children

  • I bled for like 5 weeks. Mine was also an emergency section.

  • I just have bloody discharge (TMI) not as much tho.

  • First, I assume you aren't bleeding from the cut in your abdomen. If you are, you need to see your doctor today.
    Second, I thought bloody discharge after the child is out of the uterus regardless of vaginal or C-section is to be expected. Everyone has a different amount of blood and takes a different amount of time to stop. It took me a month after my C-section.
    That being said, it's not normal to have bright red blood all that time. It should gradually turn brown and taper off.
    If you never got any discharge, I would call the doctor's office and ask what may be causing this.
