What would you do to make money at home if you could?

What skills or hobbies would you do for pay or trade if you could find people who would pay you?

I have a business plan to assist small businesses in a specific way. I would also love to make money doing genealogy.

  • The one I made the most money at while writing articles was Examiner.com. However, "most" is a very relative term here. I got a local incentive for writing articles about my topic with a local slant to them. I was the Special Needs Kids Examiner and the Single Parenting Examiner for my local area. I quit doing it because it got to the point where I was spending all my time researching and writing for them for that local angle, and had no time for my book or my kids or anything else. I also wrote for Yahoo! Voices which wasn't too bad - they pay up front for some articles. I wouldn't recommend Examiner, because they have changed things and made it so that writing for them is more of a hassle than anything else. I would look into some freelance type stuff rather than a site that pays per click or per page view.

  • I honestly don't think I could work from home. I'd go stir crazy.

  • Writing lol. Ok, that's a dream I'll never see realized.

If it were at all possible to do so, I'd love to have a "Witch" shop, maybe on etsy. Things like tarot bags, herbs, altar cloths, tarot readings (probably for free version, then a few of varying amounts, such as $1/$3/$5 if someone wanted to basically "tip" for the service), wands, crocheted and knitted items, jewelry, etc. Or, something like cloth diapers, menstrual pads, breast pads, and other handmade things. I like crafty things, but I rarely have time for them. If I was getting paid for it, I'd be able to do it more often and get better.
