Why does....

This may sound crazy, but I had to do it lol.
I googled my boyfriends name, and his ex wife's name. (their actually going through the divorce process now) and all of the records, it says they are related... Or his name is affiliated with her name, vice versa.

Is it because they were married?
Will it eventually go away?

I did the same with my DH and his ex name and it shows they are connected through the homes they owned together. That stuff will not go away at least in the next few years. But if you marry him and purchase property together eventually your union will supercede their info. Eventually it will drop away - but not completely. As long as her name remains the same, it will show up somewhere with his.
