  • I am still nursing my son who is 2 1/2 years old now. I love it. I nursed my daughter til she was 15 months and then my milk dried up b/c I was pregnant with my son. I don't really have an age at which i plan to stop. I believe in child led weaning so I am following his lead. I would like to be done by the time he is 4, but again...we will see.

  • my daughter just turned 3 and she still nurses every once in awhile.
i also practice child-led weaning so we'll be done when she's done.

  • my son severely tested my resolve to have him self wean. at three and a half he was to the point of only nursing every few days, and I drew the line as I was due to start trying to conceive within three months time, and wanted my damn body back to myself for a bit first!
