Bleeding one week before my period is due?! adult content

Hey ladies; hope all is well. Today I woke up with cramps and I totally thought this was due to pms since I have other symptoms such as sore breast and sensitive nipples. However, this morning I started bleeding dark red ( sorry TMI) then it slowly stopped and turned into light pink bleeding. I know theirs a lot of misconceptions about how and what implantation is suppose to look like so I am really confused. Should I continue as if this a normal period arriving a week early, or should I take a test in a week just to be sure? Please feel free to share your experiences ladies if this has happened to you or someone you know!

-Addition information
My lovely fiancee and I use no type of birth control... we aren't really planning for a baby but we are not doing anything to prevent it from happening.

  • i'd wait a few days before i took a test. wait and see if your "normal" period comes. mine sometimes does that, then a few days later my regular flow starts. GL

  • I spotted pink a few days before my period was due with my son. I was able to take a test and it be post the next day. I would wait a minimun or 3-4 days then take a test. If you do not start I would take another.
