Hello moms! I am originally from NY but moved to Jacksonville, NC in December with my husband who is in the military. My M-I-L and I was checking the area out and we found a daycare center not to far away from where I live. I was told the fee is $135 a month if both parents are working. In my case only my husband is working and I'm at home with my 4 year old and expecting baby number 2 in October. My husband doesn't have the money to pay $135 per week as we have other bills to pay. Now I'm looking for pre-schools for my daughter and I'm having no luck at all. I even look at elementary schools and they're requesting for your child to be 5 and my daughter doesn't turn 5 until January 1st. Please I need help and my husband isn't helping much and my daughter wants friends and wants to meet her teacher. Lol thanks in advance!Answer Question
If you are a SAHM have you looked into groups like MOMs Club. In my local chapter we have play groups for all ages, field trips, pot lucks and a lot of other events. Children are welcome at all events. It is a great way to meet other moms, get advice from people who have lived in your area longer, find people to have adult conversations with. . . .
