What is a reasonable amt. to charge for watching 3 kids- ages 6 yrs - 10 yrs?

A new coworker is in a jam & asked if I could watch her 3 kids tomorrow for about 9 hrs. The 2 girls are 6 & 10 & the boy is 8. Is $5.00/hr a fair price to ask? I told her I would let her know & call her later on.

45 dollars is fair. There's no diaper changing and they'll probably take care of themselves. Good deal. Don't go too expensive- 60 dollars is almost a days wage.

I'd say that was more than fair. You could probably charge a bit more.

Depends on how long they will be there. If they will be there all day that's a more than fair price and you could probably go up from there. Are they bringing their own food / snacks?

I'd say a flat $60.oo since there are 3 of them....that is just under $7 per hour & that incl. their drink & snacks
