New to renting

It depends on the apartment. In one place I lived, I paid for heat, electric, cable, phone, and internet. But I didn't pay for water or sewer. In another place I paid the electric, cable, phone and internet, but I didn't pay for heat or for water/sewer.

Cable, phone and internet will usually depend on the package you purchase. You can look that up on the websites of the providers. Heat and electric might depend a couple of things. One place I lived it was electric heat, which meant it was all on me. The place was horribly insulated and I wound up paying HUGE bills in the winter to heat the place.

It really depends too much on the place to say. Around here, it is common for apartments to include water, garbage, and heat...leaving you to pay electric and anything else you want like cable, phone, and internet.

My electric when we were renting an apartment was no more than $30-$40 a month and that was even running an air conditioner in the summer, but that was also 10 years ago.

In most apartment the tenants are responsible for gas, electric, phone, internet, cable. I am not familiar with your area and I have no idea how much those services would be. Normally water and trash pick up are included in the rent.
