I have it and it is driving me bonkers. Cannot go to the Dr for shots that may or may not work because of cost and afraid. It is in my ears and now it is in my hair. My head went fast. I had been at a hair salon ( my mom paid for a haircut because we had no income at that time) and the hair stylist told me something i could get in the pharmacy to use but for the life of me i cannot remember. My head is itching me to death and now i got it bleeding. Does anyone know which shampoo she was referring to. It was not Dandruff Shampoo either. Trust me i wish this was dandruff.
Tar products and salicylic acid are generally sufficient for treating very mild scalp psoriasis.
Many coal tar and non-coal tar medicated shampoos for treating scalp lesions are on the market. Remember, medicated shampoos are designed for the scalp, not the hair. http://www.psoriasis.org/page.aspx?pid=442
