He's 22 months. And he weights 22-23 lbs. He has molars so he likes chewing his food now. I don't make mushy food for him anymore, but I do give him foods that are soft and not chocking hazard for him. His typical food meal plan is
8-9 oz. of milk
One butter toast with one scrambled egg OR French toast (without syrup)
Kids yogurt (sometimes)
Fruit shake (fresh fruits blended in milk, plain yogurt. No sugar)
Homemade banana bread (sometimes)
Cucumbers or fresh fruit
Kids yogurt or fruitables juice
Gerber veggie puffs or gerber cookies (sometimes)
Chicken/fish/lamb (I haven't offered him beef yet) with rice or bread
Veggies or beans (whatever I have cooked, mostly he'll like the vegetables I have made, but sometimes he'll taste it and push it away)
Same fruit shake like above or plain milk (sometimes he'll skip it)
He's on 10th percentile on his weight chart. Again this is like a typical day diet. Sometimes he even tends to skip a meal or snack if he's cranky or just not in the mood to eat. But that's on rare occassions.
So my question, is this meal plan healthy for him? If not then what should I add or subtract?
