  • If the baby has a temp higher than 100 or 101, I would take them to the pediatrician. I don't think fever is caused from cutting teeth. There could be a virus or infection that needs to be treated.

  • My daughter gets a mild fever the day she cuts a tooth but it is only ever a degree or so above normal. Any more than that and I'd make a doctor's appointment.

  • my first didnt ever get a fever while teething but my 1 yr old always does not more than 100 though
