Poor Tigerlily...

As I've mentioned before, my girls & I take care of my neighbor's cat, Tigerlily, because my neighbor does a piss poor job of caring for her. So, I just went to go check on Tigerlily and she was so desperate for attention. She just constantly wanted to be petted & tried to follow me inside. I know she really misses being doted on by my girls.

  • You never know. The cat that moved in with us a year and a half ago (lived here before us) was almost exclusively an outdoor cat. Since we've had him he's been an indoor only cat. For the first month or so he'd try to bolt out the front door, but after that settled in with us. Before us, I'm pretty sure he was kicked and abused. After us all he gets is lots of love and attention. I'd like to think he knows he's got the high life now.

  • Awww... she is cute. I hate people that do not take care of their pets. She might be as glad for your girls to return as you are. ♥

  • DANG! I hate when they go "missing" out of a neglectful house and just "magically" show up in the home that's loved them the most. Even when that home is several hundred miles away. *wink wink* *laugh*

Reminds me of the tom cat my cousins had when we were all kids. He was not neutered and they treated him like crap. One day he stopped coming back to their house and moved in with a family a few blocks away.

  • She is, she's a really good kitty. Honestly, I've thought about just taking her. But, she lives outside. She has a little box to sleep in on my neighbor's patio. So, I know she wouldn't take well to living indoors.

  • Well, IDK if I'm that sweet. If Tigerlily still lives here when we're able to move, she may go "missing", wink, wink.
