vicks humidifier safe for 6 months old?

Just wondering if you can use this on infants for colds. You fill with water and put 1 tablespoon in of vicks.

  • there've been some new studies about vics humidifiers giving babies rashes on their sensitive skin if used too much.

i got some of that johnson's baby vapor bath (look for the green bottle). don't put it right in her bath if she has sensitive skin. what works better is this: stopper up the tub and put about 4-5 capfuls in it. turn the shower on hot water only and let the bathroom steam up. go into the bathroom with her and just sit in there, letting him breathe in the steam. this also works wonders for stuffy noses for both adults and kids!!! don't stay in there for more than 15 minutes, don't want to overheat him! this stuff is a lot better for babies...the ingredients are a lot less harsh.
