Do you think that getting a sunburn can make you sick

My dd got some sun and she's a little pukey.

  • You sure can! She might have sun poisoning. Side effects are chills, fever, nausea, and/or vomiting.

Had it once and never want it again! Make sure she's not dehydrated, which is also a big concern.

  • I think so, she knocked out for a few hours earlier so I'm thinking it has to be the sun

  • Could be the effects from heat exhaustion.

  • Could be sun poisoning or could be heat exhaustion. Depending on the age I would simply keep an eye on her and make sure you get fluids in her.
