I love Logan but due to nicknames and slangs, Peter would not be something I would ever consider. To me it would be like naming a girl Boob. Kids can be cruel. Even if the nickname would be Pete, they would still have to go by their given name in front of peers.

I like it ! sounds very traditional ! I know a few men by the name of Peter and surprisingly none of them were ever teased in the manner you would think...having said that, though, as adults, they all go by Pete
