"Feeling"

So, this is my fifth pregnancy but the first time in over 3 yrs I've made it past 12 wks. I'm only 13w2 but I'm wondering when you's first felt the baby move for the first time.

  • 16-20 weeks. During my 4th pregnancy though, I was having an ultrasound at 13 weeks and when the baby was moving on the screen, I felt in simultaneously inside me. But if it wasn't for the ultrasound, I would not have guess that was the baby.

  • I think the earliest I felt one was 15 weeks and it shocked the heck out of me. I thought I would feel anything until at least 18 weeks like with the others.

  • I think 16 weeks is when I started to question if what I felt was the baby moving and then around 18 weeks I knew for sure.

  • I'm around week 16/17, and I still haven't felt the baby move. My doctor, on Friday, couldn't find the baby's heartbeat. We were both a bit concerned, so she wanted to do a quick ultrasound. Sure enough, baby was moving around, waving at me...placenta is just in the wrong place to get a good dopple HB reading, and more than likely why I haven't felt baby move.

I felt all my other kids 12-16 weeks...I don't remember exactly, though, as its been 12, 9, 7, and 6 years since I was pregnant with them!

  • I felt my baby's tiny flutters very early (in my 1st trimester). It felt like a butterfly or rhythmic gas. I didn't wanna say much cause some say you first feel your baby in the 2nd trimester. Every week I felt it harder and then I finally knew all along what I felt was my baby from early. But I have always been sensitive to body changes. Like I could feel the egg moving down my fallopian tube when I was ovulating, and each month it would alternate sides. When you feel your baby inside you, you will know. As long as there is a good heartbeat, you should not worry. Congratulations
