Cat ate a fly, will this give her worms?

  • lol I dont think so, my cats have eaten many flys,crickets,mice, you name it..and theyre both fine. Everything but tablescraps lol well actually i caught my cat trying to eat my popcorn once...but shes ok

  • They eat them in the wild,along with reptiles(lizards,small snakes) and amphibians (frogs,salamanders) meat is meat to them. If rodents are scarce,they'll eat whatever animal is available

  • cats most commonly get tape worms from fleas ingesting, but parasites are just that, parasites. all they need is the proper host/climate for their current stage of life and they will flourish.

  • I know about the fleas but surely it cannot be good to eat bugs for a cat? Or maybe it's protein? Ick...thanks ladies.
