  • I think thats a tough answer to give unless you've ever had a child with or loved someone with a disability. But my answer is yes. I think when you love someone you see past the imperfections the world sees.

  • I work with adults with developmental disabilities, and I have heard many horror stories of what they went through, some from them selves, and stories in their books, cuz not all of them can speak. But its just so sad. I dont know how anyone could not love their child no matter what.

  • Yeah i would. In fact I can say that with convidence b/c my youngest son was born w/a cleft lip and palate and they thought he had a bunch of other stuff wrong with him too. My OB/GYN was actually trying to discuse "other options" with us but my husband and I just looked at each other and said that this is our child and we would do the best we could. Luckly everything turned out all right b/c he's a perfectly healthy 3 yr old boy (well with how much he eats i'm not sure if that's normal. LOL)

  • Of course I would love them the same! I worked with the handicapped kids when i was in high school and they really aren't any different than us, they deserve just as much love.

  • heck yes. unconditional love. no doubt it would be frustrating, but a disability does not make a child any less worth of love and acceptance.
