I get very frustrated watching my 6 yr old nephew's bizarre behavior and his mom sitting back like it's not a big deal. Since he was a toddler he has had emotional outbursts, and he will cry (more like a tantrum of screams and yells) at anything that bothers him like not getting his way or falling. At almost 7, he doesn't understand how to pedal a bike. He toe walks a lot. He can't tie his shoes & struggles putting them on by himself. He is STRICT in routine & sameness -like wants to wear the same PJs everynight, only sticks to a very limited # of foods he eats - mostly just PB sandwiches. I'll just say his social skills are off -makes annoying sounds in my kids faces and repeatedly hits them and crashes into them for fun. He's clumsy among other things. His mom never mentions autism spectrum, but should I bring up his sensory issues? Maybe she is in denial about this or hoping he grows out of it? Or keeps it a secret?Answer Question
