All the critcism of food stamps

A woman gave me a dirty look about using food stamps. I need to feed my family. My husband just got a job so i will either receive very little to no food stamps next month which is fine with me. But i want opinions on what i bought last night. See if every one thinks i was wrong.

grocery list
milk 2 gallons
bread 8 loaves ( for the pb and j my kids love to snack on)
onions
potatoes
green beans (fresh)
corn
peas
lettuce
tomatoes
cheese
whole wheat pasta
ground beef ( for spaghetti, etc)
steaks ( only on a huge sale manager special i think i paid 1.76 for pack of three)
sausage
eggs
beans
cornbread
pancake mix ( a huge bag 9.76)
sugar free syrup
peanut butter
strawberries
apples
carrots
blueberries

In total with coupons I spent about 70.00 but this will also go for a couple of weeks. I cannot wait to be off fs though

It is no ones business but your own. And yea that's good stuff I seen people go in and by 200$-500$ in one transaction on just chips and soda Icecream pizza rolls and such. Nothing healthy no veggies(fresh frozen or canned) I thought it was strange. It airports me she still had plenty left after. But that's when I work as a cashier.

But even still that's there business. Sometimes people need it to get by and other always use it. If they can I guess. It is what it is and people can't change it so get over it. Fs is something our system has and some people use it while others abuse it but that goes with anything in this life really

I don't understand how people even know when someone is using foodstamps. It's done with a card; its swiped just like a debit or credit card. Someone would have to be standing almost on top of you to know. Anyhow - You can spend your SNAP anyway you choose to.

Frankley if someone is standing so close to you inline that they can see how you are paying then they need to back the F--- up. You should NOT be able to see the card the person in front of you is paying with.
